I like to cook. I like to eat sushi. So, why don’t I make my own sushi?
Well, up until now, I thought it was hard. It’s not.
A couple of weeks ago there was a sushi making kit on Woot for $9.99. So I bought one. It arrived yesterday, so on the way home I stopped at the local oriental grocery store.
If you are going to make sushi, make sure you find an oriental store to buy your supplies. At my local coop they sell 7 sheets of nori (the seaweed wrapper) for $5.49. At the oriental grocery store it’s 10 sheets for $1.49. You tell me what’s the better deal.
So I bought some nori, some wasabi powder, some rice and some crab sticks.
Then I made some delicious sushi! It was easy!
The wasabi power I bought was really strong – Wow! That’s some good stuff.
Wish I had thought to take some photos – oh well, next time. I can’t wait to make some more and find all kinds of good stuff to put inside.
I bought some for lunch today. Wish it was time to eat already. Num.
